TVA has made a major commitment to providing full bandwidth video for broadcast and corporate videoconferencing applications.
Fiber Uplink
Central to offering this service is a direct connection from our studio
and our newsroom to the Pac Bell fiber loop for the Bay Area. From the
PacBell fibre we can connect to Vyvx and offer confidential links to facilities
around the country including Echostar, DirectTV, and various satellite
uplinks.
Satellite Uplink
The TVA studio is connected directly into fiber that can be patched
to satellite uplinks. The studio facility is also configured to accept
satellite uplink trucks.
Distance Learning
For product releases that require major impact the 50'x60' studio
is used. For technical presentations where "content is king" and where
the budget is more limited we offer a newsroom set with video roll-ins,
scan converter for PowerPoint graphics, telephone call-in and response
on air…all for a modest budget.
